Through donations, volunteer efforts, and partnerships with local organizations, Little Necessities programs ensure that older adults have access to the fundamental items necessary for daily living and well-being.
Central Boston Elder Services
Program For Consumers Age 60 And Above
To apply, you must have a Care Manager at Central Boston Elder Services assist you by filling out the application. This is a one-time award.
The Little Necessities funds have been used for canes, rollator walkers, clothing, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, bureaus, beds, recliner chairs, and power lift chairs. Mass Home Care uses 24 local non-profit agencies to carry out the program on behalf of elderly clients who receive home care assistance to remain living independently at home. Ask your Care Manager about the Little Necessities Fund.
