This is a good opportunity for warm and caring individuals interested in serving elders through companionship and friendship. Many of our volunteers are elderly themselves.

Volunteers assist elder clients through Friendly Visiting, Medical Escort, Small Item Shopping, and Telephone Reassurance. Volunteers are available on a regular basis or as needed and are requested to make a six-month to one-year commitment when signing up for the program.

Volunteer orientation and in-service training sessions are conducted on a regular basis. Fellowship exists both among the volunteers and between volunteers and clients they serve.
